Young Artist Initiative @ SLS

The Young Artist Initiative threw their best event yet on Friday, Jan 29 at SLS, drawing almost 2,000 people out to get down with local Miami music and art. The poolside cabanas were turned into individual artist tents filled with live painting and projections, while the courtyard was strung with lights and installation art. Two separate music halls featured a staggered lineup local djs + producers spinning their signature sounds concurrently. Photos for Young Artist Initiative. 

Tatunga

I got to steal the elusive Tati Suarez away during Basel for a quick shoot in front of a cool collaborative piece she was finishing at Smashed Canvas in Wynwood. Her sultry, doe-eyed sirens can be found on walls all over the city.

Didrok

I had the privilege of photographing Didi in front of a couple murals she was finishing for different Art Basel projects around the city. This year female artists got a lot of attention for Miami Art Week, which is really exciting.
